FAQ:

What is an affinity group?
Affinity group is Cornerstone's small group ministry. It's a ministry to help communicate and connect the people that attend Cornerstone. The expectation of each group is to be an open group where members commit to that group for a certain time period and give the freedom to continue in the group, find a different group or start a new group.

What do you do in an affinity group?
The primary purpose is to give opportunity for people and families to get to know one another. Some groups get together for lunches, dinner, activities, bibles study and prayer. It is also an opportunity to hear about the exciting events and news that are happening in the life of Cornerstone.

How are the affinity groups formed?
An elder and a deacon of Cornerstone are the coordinators and leaders of the group. We take into consideration the demographics of people, family, place of residency to make the best possible match and compatibility.

How often do the affinity groups meet?
It is encouraged that each group meets at least on a quarterly basis, but each group meets according to their time and schedule.

How can I get involved with an affinity group?
To check out an affinity group of your interest, please contact Gretchen Best who is the Affinity Group Coordinator or contact an elder or deacon of the group of choice.
