2012 Cornerstone Supports Our Troops
Beginning Sunday, April 15 through Sunday, May 20, we will once again
collect items for military troops stationed abroad. Although the list is simple, these
items are greatly appreciated by our troops. Requested items are:
- cotton socks
- toothpaste
- tooth brushes
- hand sanitizer (personal size, not the large refills)
- shampoo
- tea bags
- ground coffee
Collection boxes will be located in the Narthex beginning Sunday, April 15.
Connections Class
Connections Class Sun. Feb. 19th 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Do you want to know more about Cornerstone
Presbyterian Church? Or would you like to join Cornerstone? Dr. Thrower will be leading our
new member class. Sign up sheet in the narthex. Contact the church office.
Safe Child Training
Cornerstone Presbyterian Church implemented a Safe Child Policy to protect our
congregation, especially our youngest members. If you plan to work with children/youth in
any capacity, you will need to attend a Safe Child Session and sign the Covenant Statement of
compliance. You will only need to attend our Safe Child Training once, so if you already
have you don't need to attend again. Please contact Andrea Johnson if you are interested in
attending a Safe Child Session, but are unable to make either of the following dates.
Safe Child Sessions will be held on the following days/times in one of
the Sunday School classrooms not in use:
SUNDAY Feb 12th @ 6pm
WEDNESDAY Feb 15th @ 6:30pm and Feb 29th @ 6:30pm
WEDNESDAY March 28th @ 6:30pm
WEDNESDAY May 30th @ 6:30pm
Spring Presbyterian Pilgrimage #111
Experience a weekend in Christian sharing and living March 15th-18th,
2012. A pilgrimage is an intensive three day Christian experience designed
to provide a significant foundation for individual and community spiritual
growth. Grace and Growth are combined in an exciting and energetic way.

Sanctuary Flowers
Sanctuary flowers enhance the beauty of our Sunday services. They can
be given to the Glory of God, in memory of, or in honor of family
members, friends and loved ones. When you reserve a date, a notice of
your donation will be printed in the Sunday service bulletin.
To reserve a date, please fill out the flower calendar in the narthex and
the form below. Send it, along with your check to the church office prior
to your reserved date. The cost is $75.00. Checks should be made
payable to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church with ‘Flower Fund’ noted
on the memo line.
